The Magic Elixir
First Strip Previous Strip Next Strip Latest Strip
I often find it amusing that there are times in video games (or even most fantasy novels) where the main character must go through a severely torturous journey. In fact, so torturous that the person the hero is trying to rescue looks like he's going on a vacation to Hawaii in comparison. Maybe it's the Geneva convention that requires this to happen. Maybe it's just how the world was made.
AJ and I have been on a Blizzard game kick. We've played Starcraft, and now we're reaching into the depths of Diablo 2 along with some spattering of Warcraft 3. I had forgotten how good at making games Blizzard is. I will have to put them in my top 5 video game companies. Of course, the top is Bioware.
Words can't express how excited I am to play their first MMO, The Old Republic. The gameplay (even a year left before it's released looks fantastic. Will this bring down WoW? No, I severely doubt it, but it looks like it will be comparable and I'll be playing.

My bounty hunter will crush you faster than a k'lor slug on a wamprat.
ReplyDeleteWamprats are only 2 meters across
ReplyDeleteThat's why I have my pet sarlacc to deal with pesky bounty hunters.
ReplyDeleteExcept Boba Fett escaped the Almighty Sarlaac, thus proving his superiority.
ReplyDeleteWho's the idiot that spelled great with an 8
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't fatal to Boba Fett, but it did stop Boba Fett from preventing the rescue or whatever he was trying to do. Also, he can't fly over the pit of Karkoon without it talking to him anymore, which has to be unsettling.
