I was introduced to tabletop RPG's by a friend who up until recently never played a male character. If you made a video game that allowed playable female characters, he would play that female character. Oh, and I forgot to mention, he's a dude.
I never understood why. Of course, I'm the vanilla of RPG players. My first RPG on the computer I played a male soldier. My next, I played a wookie soldier. Whenever I start up a new RPG I usually play a male soldier. I also play the lawful good character because I can't feel good about being evil even in a game. Anyways, for my next campaign, that Toby is starting up, I'm trying out playing a woman who is not completely moral. It should be fun and interesting.
If you notice the link to the side, Back On Earth is an up and coming webcomic. It's both fun and enjoyable.

That pretty much sums up why you should play girls. I love the fact this is your first time playing a "less than moral" character coincidently the same time you play a chic. What are you trying to say exactly? ;)
ReplyDeleteI love the way you draw the DnD characters, Andrew. Sort of faceless representations. Very cool.
this made me laugh really hard before i realized i don't get it.... what are those things they're standing over? oh well it's funny anyway. i don't think i role play enough.
