There is a history between birds and humans. Birds want to play our sports. Unfortunately due to their small size, they aren't as durable as we'd like to think they are.
During the Spurs game on Saturday, Manu Ginobili caught a bat that was attempting to play basketball. The bat didn't actually die, and the official word is that the little beastie flew off the next day after being stunned. That didn't stop PETA from taking offense.
Of course, the bat had the last laugh, with Manu having to go get rabies shots.
