Sorry about the late post everyone. I had a quiz today in my history class and I spent this morning studying for it instead of posting the comic.
This comic is why I rarely look at game review scores when I buy a game. Usually I find out from word of mouth whether or not I'll play the game. For instance, Penny Arcade has piqued my interest regarding Arkham Asylum (the new Batman game) and so I will probably buy this game in order to experience. Not because of the 9.3 rating but because someone who has liked good games before and avoided those terrible games, I trust Penny Arcade's opinion.
Speaking of new games, Turbine's latest MMO (that'd be Dungeons and Dragons Online or DDO for short) is scheduled to release September 9th. Luckily for me I was in the Beta so I am downloading it as we speak, but the beauty of this MMO is that it's mostly free. Special Weapons and Armor can be bought using real money but for everyone else who doesn't want that specific piece, this game looks really good for zero munny.
I will have to expound on this game more later, the Beta was good but needed a little bit of work. Hopefully they smoothed it out a little bit. TD and I will probably play this casually so I'll relate my adventures later.
