When AJ and I first heard that Star Trek was coming out, neither of us were interested in seeing it. We've never watched the original series so we never got caught up in the whole debate. Well, that was before we saw this man was going to be playing Scotty. Now we knew that we HAD to see it.
I just watched this movie last night, and while the graphics are subpar, the one-liners pretty lame, and the action sequences with Sonya really lame, the movie is still awesome. I fell asleep last night to that strange techno that is the Mortal Kombat theme.
