Self serving Christmas Shopping.

First Strip    Previous Strip    Next Strip    Latest Strip

With the economy the way it is, governments are telling people to shop locally, well maybe just our city government. There's one problem with this. While the economy locally might be boosted with the extra sales during a holiday season, a lot of the time, if you live in a small community, both the choices are below par and the quality is below average.

Businesses, and business owners of course, need to understand that there are two types of people. There are those who try and get the lowest price on anything regardless of quality and those who get the best quality they can afford. When a business offers neither, there's not point in buying from them.

If we want to increase money flow locally or nationally, we need to offer either the cheapest or the best. When we offer neither people flock to other countries to buy cars, shoes and electronics. It's not the consumer, it's the system.
